Hi girls...looking for a little advice please. I came away with my hubby and little one for the bank holiday weekend and I'm soooo sick. I've been violently sick since last night and have now just thrown up what I think was my stomach lining (illuminous yellow/green). I've never had sickness like this in my life. Think it's just a stomach bug? (Never really had one) and will this have any affect on baby? I hate being away from home feeling like this, it's awful :(

How awful for you :(

I got quite sick with food poisoning whilst pregnant and was told not to worry about food, have occasional sips of water and get checked over if you go 24 hours without keeping anything down. Baby will be fine though and will hav everyhjng they need but after a full day you may need IV fluids to avoid dehydration if you can't keep anything down at all x

Thanks hun, really appreciate your reply. I've no idea what this is, we are self catering and I have done all the cooking so wouldn't imagine it to be good poisoning, everyone else have eaten the same and are fine too. Unfortunately I can't keep water down at the moment but will keep trying. This is the pits!!!!

Try sucking on ice chips/cubes if you are struggling to keep water down.

Hope you feel better soon.
