Seriously TMI Question (Dont read if eating ha ha)

Morning Ladies,

Hope you are all well, I have a discharge question Since about 3 days ago I have been having discharge quite alot and at night I wake up trickling!!! Coz I dont tend to wear anything in bed I have to run to the bathroom or keep tissue next to the bed when this happening. The thing is over these days I have noticed a bit of a smell as well which isnt nice but I have no sign of infection in terms of itching or burning!!! This morning there was massive glup as well so not sure if I am slowly losing my plug and this is why it smells.

Another factor is that me and my hubby amazingly didnt have sex from when I conceived till last weekend so not sure if that may have done anything.

I have spoken to labour ward and they said to keep an eye on it as it could be slow trickling waters but sounds just like increased discharge. I didnt mention the smell to them though.

Sorry for the long post but is anyone else experience this???

Sounds to me like bubs is getting ready to get on the slide out of there.

Give midwife a call if worried

when i got thrush i didn't recognise it cos i didn't get any itching, but i got increased discharge.

keep an eye on it and if worried call your M/W. but i really hope its a sign things are moving for you.

I haven't had this myself, but wanted to say at antenatal class they said waters may have a 'musty' smell to them.

Have you had any other symptoms?

Sandi4Paul what did they perscribe you for Thrush, can you use canistan??
Hideilu not really had any other symptoms apart from the normal pressure when LO feels like he is scrapping his head around in my pelvis which is quite painful but nothing else

I was prescribed Canestan (pessary and/or cream, not the tablet IIRC), but it says you should consult your doctor before doing so if pregnant.

Don't think I can help but didn't want to read and run . It could be a sign that LO is on their way but it could also be thrush, sounds like the sort of discharge I got when I had thrush but I had the burning and itching to go with it (Sorry!) I was prescribed the canastan pessary and cream.

Could you possibly wear some white undies to bed so you could keep a proper eye on the discharge, ie colour, smell, amount etc??

Also I was eating my tea during this thread and now you have ruined it... just kidding lol!
