Self weaning/cutting back on feeds

Does anyone know when it's normal for this to happen? C is on 3 meals a day (blw) but seems to eat quite a bit already. Over the past couple of months he had reduced the amount of milk through the day slightly, but over the past few days he's really cut back. He still feeds quite a bit through the night but not as much as he used to.

I give him water and he has plenty of wet nappies and poos every 2 to 3 days, but I suppose I'm a bit miffed if he's already self weaning? I feel redundant
Or maybe with everything that's going in atm, he's picking up on the stress?

Not sure, Grace is on 3 meals a day but still has usual milk, she's recently started having her last milk at 4-5pm and going through the night with no milk so I suppose it may be what he's doing but just the other way around
