Went to see my GP yesterday about a few niggles regarding my pregnancy. The nausea and needing to eat and then being constipated was really getting to me. Plus I've been having way more palpitations that I usually do.

Anyways, long story short, I have a heart murmur. She thinks its a 'flow' murmur which some women develop during pregnancy. On its own, nothing to worry about. But combined with the big palpitations and she is referring me on to a cardiologist for a few tests to rule problems out. So got to wait to hear from them. She tells me it'll happen pretty quick due to being pregnant.

Other niggles were discussed, sorted and have some Lactulose now. Bliss  I was feeling better about things, if still bloated and bleh, there were at least some things I could do to help.

Then last night I woke to pee and had some light spotting. Nothing major, and no cramps with it. And by the morning had stopped. I went back to my GP this morning to be on the safe side and had a talk. It was all explained to me. ATM, I still feel pregnant (have sore boobs, feel sick, peeing a lot...) so think I still am. I was told to have a relaxing few days just in case, but that if it was going to happen, it'll happen no matter what I am doing. Which I expected. I'm only going to have an early scan if I have more spotting or severe cramps etc. I'm not going to stress about it, as it can't be good for me or baby. I figure so long as I am having symptoms its a good thing :) I've been told they can disappear within 24 hours, so will be patient.

Anyways, I'm away from tomorrow till Saturday. Going to go ahead with my weekend away with hubby. Only over in Belfast and tbh, I'd rather be doing *something* to take my mind of things than sitting around at home.

aww hun your aving a right time of it aint you
i think we are more intune with our bodys when we are pg looking out for any tiny sign something may be wrong or whatever so we get these health problems more as normaly we would brush them of as we no they will go on there own
just take it easy hun have a nice break with your bloke and enjoy yourself
manda xx

Hope all goes well with the heart murmur    At least now they know what it is they can do something about it.

Have a lovely time in Belfast, the break will do you loads of good :D

Try not to worry about spotting (this coming from the worlds worst worrier - hilarious) but seriously, try not to. I had bleeding at 6, 8, 9 and 11 weeks and it all turned out to be nothing to do with the baby. :)

Hello
sounds complicaed, hun, I had bad cramps one day around the time of my 2nd period and they were bad enough to take my breath away...they passed after 24 hours.

Re palpations, I have been having them too, I might mention to my doc, they are not bad just flutters in my chest.

Take care and hope you areok over the weekend.

xx

Im being referred to the cardiologist as i have a heart condition so nothing to worry about it. They will just monitor it to check all is ok x x x
