Sciatica at 27 weeks? Any ideas on pain relief

Hi my friend is 27 weeks pregnant and struggling with sciatica has anybody else had this? Or can anybody offer any tips on dealing with the pain obviously she has been told there is nothing she can take due to the pregnancy, any advice at all would be really helpful

I had sciatica in my bum lol it was horrid and couldn't. even stand on a couple of occasions it hurt so much I cried!! It seems to have settled but I've found soaking in the bath every day has def help get rid of some pain plus baby has moved I reckon do perhaps was annoying a nerve? Hope u feel better x

I had sciatica with my little boy, yes warm baths are good, she can take paracetamol and also apply deep freeze gel,that really helped relieve the pain for me.

I had this quite bad a few weeks ago, it's horrible! I found what helped the most was applying one of those wheat bags that you put in the microwave x x
