...of internal exams. just read on my weekly newsletter from pregnancy -info that at 36 weeks thts when it starts. i know i still got some time before and i know ive got a baby coming out of me in 2 months time but im just petrified of people putting things up me lol im the type of girls who hates even getting changed in front of other girls. the only personi feel 100% comfy infront of is oh. but never mind suppose i just need to get over it :-s

I don't like them either I had to have an internal a couple of weeks ago at the hospital cos I wasnt feeling too good. I felt a bit embarassed and a little uncomfortable but it was over in seconds and not as bad as I thought it would be :) xx

I hate it too :( I am terrible for putting my smear test off because of that reason! I was due to have one just as I found out I was pregnant! Thankfully my doc told me to leave it till I have had little one, which I was so relieved to hear! :hugs:

I only ever had one smear cos everytime I book it I get pregnant lol
Had so many internal exams with mc's and early in this pregnancy I will drop my pants and open me legs for anyone now lol

 Laura you really do make me laugh! I suppose you do get used to it though if you have to do it a few times!

Thing is, we really shouldn't let it bother us as they've seen it all  but we do! I remember when I was having Jay, the doc said to me 'good god, it looks like a dentist has been down here' Thanks for that! Made me feel so much better

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but why does it start at 36 weeks? I can only ever remember having had internal examinations when I was actually in labour... Or have I just chosen to forget the earlier ones?

I wouldn't worry too much - I'm 40 weeks now and still not had an internal so if everything goes smoothly you won't need one until its sweep or birthing time.

i agree with the above ladies.

ive had one internal and that was a scan due to low placenta, but if alls ok you wont have one until labour x x

try not to worry x x

and lilmoomin what did the doctor mean?? lol
