I think I have been in a bit of denial. Convinced I will go late, planning things even after my due date, trying not to think about the labour, just about the baby and I suddenly realised today that I am actually going to have to go through labour. I will have to push this baby out of me and go through all the pain and I will have a story just like everyone else does.
I'm so terrified. I am confident in myself, because lots of women do it, but I know from the physical pain of 2 miscarriages that labour is going to be horrifically painful. I get cramps now and I wildly swing from thinking, oh, how exciting, to oh dear god, please not yet.
ahhh!!!
