I did try not to think about it but weird thoughts start creeping up - what if they think its DS and offer amnio?

I am not even worried about low lying placenta, its the thought of Downs that scares me.
Not helped by my tooth infecton and being in pain at home.

Has anyone had similar experience?

Have you not already had the nuchal screening at 12 weeks for downs or the blood test at 15 weeks? I'm sure all will be fine, I'm like you though, can't help but worry!

did they say that the feet were "wrong" in shape or position? only Jude was born with Positional Talapese which was rectified by us massaging in a certain way to turn the feet back out and down, lengthening the tendons....which we did every time we changed his nappy for I think 2 weeks and his feet are fine. Saying that they didnt tell me they could see that on the scan though babe xx

It says on the report that potentially he has talipies on the right foot, but they also said it can be a sign of DS. Or can be just the way he was lying.
His foot might be a bit wrong but he is definitely kicking my bladder very hard, ouch

Let us know how you get on, will be thinking of u xx

Thinking of you today hunny, let us know how you get on x x

Thanks ladies, my scan isnt until 3:30pm. And I jut realised we wont have internet cause we are moving today and it will take couple of days. Can I drop someone my mobile number and get their back so I can update?

Good luck today, I'll be thinking of you x

Woo hooo! We have internet, have moved the rest of the stuff today and settling down. The kitchen isnt quite finished yet but all the toilets and showers are working. Have done some cleaning and will head to the hospital in an hour

Knopk@ asked me to do a little up date to let you all know the scan went fine, placenta is low so she'll have another scan later on. She'll do a post later when her internet is all sorted!

Great news though xx

Hi ladies, thank God everything is good, the doctor wasnt concerned with the foot, said it looked normal. The worst case scenario is the baby will need physio - i had physio for my foot when i was small. So phew.
I have low anterior placenta so will need a re-scan at 36 weeks just to make sure its ok.

Such a relief. And it's definitely a boy, he was playing with his bits - holding it in his hand actually :) Dont have a scanner yet set up so will have to wait to upload the photo.

The consultant was laughing at my boy playing with his winky although they probably see it quite often.

After my scan I got first things for my boy, scratch mits, socks and a bodysuit:)

Ahh a little boy, how typical holding his willy! Someone said that this week too, good idea with the scratch mitts lol!

Yippee!!!! Wonderful news...... Now will you relax and enjoy?
