Scan & Weight questions

Hi All

My 18-22week scan
My local nhs hospital is currently saying they have no spaces for my scan! Are they legally obliged to find me a space or do I have to pay privately?? I don't want to go beyond 22 weeks as i will be on hols.

Am i too light in weight?
I am in week 18, however whilst my tummy is getting bigger i have only put on 3 1/2 pounds since getting pregnant which doesn't seem much?? Should i be concerned.

Hi Fizzle,

I had only put on 3lb by 18weeks so I would not worry about that at all. When I go for my antenatal checkups my GP doesn't even weigh me because she says it's not important providing you are feeling well.

As for the scan, Do you live in England?
