scan today

Got another scan today due to baby being in the wrong position to check everything at 20 week scan.

Have to have spine, kidneys and face for cleft lip checked and also my placenta as last sonographer said it was low?

What does this mean?

Hey, I was told placenta was low and covering cervix at 21 week scan. Went back a week later to complete all the measurements etc and was told placenta was fine. I'm still getting another scan at around 32 weeks to double check still out the way x

Your placenta has to be at least 2.5cm away from your cervix or you may end up having to have a c section. As your bump grows the placenta moves up so they will monitor it to see if it moves further away just so they know if you may need a section. My midwife told me mine was 2.7cm away at my 20 week scan so she was happy, hope that helps?
