Scan this morning

Hi,

I might not have my morning sickness any more but I am totally bricking it this morning. I've booked myself a private viability scan as my Drs won't give me one and I don't get one at 12 weeks anyway. I'm 9 + 1 so that's the same week that I had my m/c in September if you see what I mean so I am very nervous but do really need to know otherwise I am getting a bit scared to leave the house as I had no warning last time.

Trying to be as brave as a lot of you have been!

It's ok! There's a heart beat! Yeah! Never thought I'd get to this point somehow, I've been so convinced that it wasn't going to happen that I've not even been thinking past 12 weeks. We saw a really good photo and could clearly see the heart beating away and the little buds where the arms and legs will grow. He/she is only 2cm- how small! She put my dates back three days- should I adjust things to what she said do you think?

Thanks guys. I can't tell you how relieved I feel. I know I've still got to get to 12 weeks but she said that at 9 weeks if they see a heartbeat there's 98% chance it'll be ok which are much better odds.

Off for a nap as I didn't sleep a wink last nigh

I adjusted my dates when I found out at my 12 week scan, and it kinda tied in with my cycle anyway.....

Aww that's so good. I did exactly the same booking a private scan for re-assurance and after weeks of feeling a bit down and headachey all of a sudden I feel great because I knew everything was ok this time. It has really perked me up! Really pleased for you x

Thanks guys! I've finally got a big smile on my face, it took all of yesterday for it to sink in though. It feels better than Christmas!
