Saw midwife today

I had my booking in today with the midwife. It actually wasn't as long as I thought it was gonna be, I was only in there about 20 mins. Everything was fine apart from my BP was a little high. I got my bounty pack so I got loads to read through and loads of forms to fill in before I see her again at 10 weeks . It all seems very real now

Whats a bounty pack did u get a load of bounty bars or something lol?

MMMM bounty bars . It's just what they call the pack of information booklets and contain your notes etc. My god it's hooge, I'm gonna be reading it for the nest 2 weeks I think

Babylicious i'm in Hull the same as you I have heard they are really slow for booking in etc. At what stage did your GP refer you?
I am going to be a nervous wreck if i am kept waiting ages.

i was the same - although my appt is now next week so its come round soon enough.

18 or 13! thats still a hell of a long time to wait? dont u get a 12 weeks scan?

I saw mine today too, it feels like a real milestone. I get the feeling 8 weeks is just as important as 12 in it's own way, for instance after 8 weeks my chances of avoiding MC at 36 return to the same as a 20 yr old's at 8 weeks!!
