It does make you wonder what we do for the 38 Saturday nights a year that it isn't on!

What is everyone up to today? So far I have cut up a pool noodle to use to keep my boots up straight, watched Rose and had some eggy bread.

As you know I've been cleaning up both cat and baby poo for most of my day! FML! All cleaned up now and am attempting to cook a roast x

I so would have had a breakdown at that - how is your cat now?

I'd love a roast, we had one a couple of weeks ago with a whole chicken that was just amazing (enough that I am thinking about adding a chicken to our meat buying on a regular basis - just so long as I don't have to see it or touch it!) that the thought of just having a roast with a chicken breast seems a little disappointing.

Oh I very nearly did  he's not eating his food so I'll have to see how he gets on tonight :(

I love chicken but I hate cooking it :/ we're having lamb today :) we're quite lucky my uncle has his own butchers shop and we manage to fill our freezer once a month for about £15 - £20 he very often throws in big joints of meat and even steaks :)

A pool noodle is one of those long foam tubes you get in swimming pools. You can get something similar in Poundland for £1 (not sure if they've stopped doing them for the year now). You cut it up and put it inside boots and that keeps them straight by giving them something straight inside them.
