I think the rusk in a milk might come from a time when "hungry baby" milk wasn't available. I'm still breastfeeding, but would never add rusk to a bottle, I'd just get the progress milk or whatever.
I bought rusks with mason to give as a meal mixed with a little bit of milk. It was really hard to get the consistency right though, it just went really sticky and gloopy
I won't bother this time, there's so much more on offer now.
