Does anybody have any recommendations on room thermometers?

I was looking at getting the gro egg one that changes colour but although there's lots of good reviews there's also people who stay they are rubbish! I know you'll get mixed reviews with everything but just thought I'd ask for your ladies opinion?

Bub due in July so I know it won't be too cold but I still want to keep an eye on the temperature.

xx

I have a gro egg and love it. My lo is 20 months now and I still use it bit just more of a peace of mind things really. I still use sleeping bags and worry about her over heating in them. I highly recommend it

We never used any kind of thermometer, just went with instinct. I often check her temperature on the back of her neck theough evening & when I wake at night, shes 22 months now. But everyone is different.

I had a groegg. It worked.
But I do think they're useless really.

You can get a baby monitor with it inbuilt.

We've got a gro egg and I love mine although still touch the back of his neck to check anyway x

My baby was born June and I have a grow egg, I like it. I love the colours as it indicates what's ok ect makes it easy. My baby moniter also tells me the room temperature but I just use grow egg as I can see it from the door without disturbing baby.

I was thinking of getting a grow egg but some of the reviews are really bad apparently the temperature isn't accurate at all.

I'm looking into a baby monitor with temperature I think as will save me buying two things. xx

We have a Motorola monitor and a tommee tippee monitor and both measure temperature. To be honest I never really believe what they tell me and have never let temperature concern me at all. I check on them both enough to be aware if they seem too hot or cold x

We've got a gro egg. Brilliant cos if i go in my daughters room without my glasses on and i can see its yellow i have piece of mind.

Our gro-egg always says different to the baby monitor so I never know which ones right lol xx
