robitussin aiding conception

hi all have hears that taking cough medicine containing robitussin could aid in making cm more watery and aid the sperm to swim?

are there any ingredients in the medicine that shold be avoided?

Basically you want the only active ingredient to be Guaiphenesin. You can get it in Boots

oh thanks hun, have some but it contains robitussin, dextromethorpan and hydrobomide..., me thinks this is not good, lol, will go to boots and ask someone which one i should have.

The one I got was from superdrug, not sure which one, think it might have been vicks chesty??? I think if no BFP this cycle I'll get it for next cycle as it worked last time I tried it

Hi Antonia, I think i have read that you should avoid dextomethorpan (sp) as it can cause birh defects.
