Ok, being overly paranoid/silly here.... Has anyone ever had a rib shot powerful or painful enough to do any damage.

I have been getting some really intense shots that bring tears to my eyes and make me feel like my ribs are about to break. Also is it likely she will keep it up or will it ease off as she gets bigger still and has less room to move?

I have no personal experience but have heard of this happening to quite a few people. One of my mum's friends did actually end up with a cracked rib
I thought that from now on your baby's movements would start to get more restricted as she gets bigger so hopefully it'll improve for you. I'm sure one of the others will be ablet confirm if this is true.

PS I love your avatar pic, sooo cute!

I hope not as my LO can be quite vicious sometimes lol actually feels like shes pulling on my ribs ouuuuch :( xxx

 i'm not even as far gone and i've been getting pains at the bottom of my ribs like under my boobs! It feels bruised :/ xx

i apparently got my foot stuck under my mums ribs at one point lol

Thanks for your replies ladies :).

Now I am convinced she is trying to break my ribs and am scared that it is possible. I would be angry at it, if she wasn't so damn cute :D.

well if nothing else it just proves that you suffer to be a mum, even before theyre here

Um, I've only just started to get regular kicks but I don't like the sound of this.

Sorry to say but my sister in laws sister's baby cracked 2 of her ribs.Baby was also breech so as a result they booked her in for a planned c-section.:(

I've been getting some really sore kicks there too, taken my breath away a couple of times. I've also heard the cracked rib stories!
