Well little man is such a little diamond during the day ... feeding, winding, changing. sleeping, and some awake time .... hes now 13 days old ...

well come Night time .... he turns into a screaming restless little man who just isnt happy :( ... we try everything and nothing works... last night slept from 7.30pm til 12.15am, feed and changed him, and he was asleep by 12.30am..... woke again at 2.45am, . feed winded and changed him.... then he screamed blue murder til 5.45 when his next bottle was due .... he was fed winded changed ect and settled and back in bed for 6 am, and still up there now ...

he finds settling after his 3am feed is really difficult and there is no comforting him what so ever .... me and hubby are lost as what to do next ... :nap:

Hiya Sarah,

Have you tried some Colic drops? perhaps it's just a build up of trapped wind? x

Sounds like colic.. looks like he's in a pretty good routine though otherwise.

I have to tell you my little one is exactly the same .... turns into the devil at 3am till 6ish. I can't give any advice as I'm yet to work it out but I can 100% sympathise x

thanks ladies ..... will start the colic drops today see if we see any differance ... he is very windy ... bum wise lolol

I was going to suggest colic too. My daughter had it from a few weeks old until around 12 weeks. She would cry for sometimes 4/5 hours straight and nothing would comfort her. It wasn't always at the same time, if it hadn't happened during the day we would have it just before bed time.

We used infacol and it took about a week to make a difference

Does sound like colic and things like colief, infacol and colic bottles will help (helped us) but won't get rid altogether, they usually grow out of it. My lo was the same then it seemed to change into a more of a rapped wind type thing, stomach crunches groaning etc, turned out he was lactose intolerant, keep an eye out for other things like that. Also reflux and silent reflux, if baby seems in any pain explore all options with your gp although they are very hard to persuade anything is wrong sometimes so be persistent!

sounds like colic! infacol worked for me , but takes a while to build up in system... dont be afraid to let them try sleeping on front, lots of mums do it. we had a snuza hero that gave us peace of mind.

what type of birth did you have? if continued could try cranial ostepathy... i phoned up and was told 2 -3 sessions could solve colic... worth phoning them up just to see what they say.. whilst i never took this option i found what yhey said on phone interesting.

also consider working as a team with oh to ensure you get some sleep. i use to go to bed in the early days 9pm till 1am whilst oh looked after my baby. (it was nice to know i had some time where i knew i would get sleep. then i took over 1am -6am and then oh did early morning. when we didnt have shifts i found it alot harder

Snuza hero fan here too! It's kept me sane so far!

Excuse the silly question, but what exactly is the snuza hero used for? I'm googling it but it's not quite clear from the description how it is of help?

Thank you so much everyone for your advice ...

We've been using colic drops since ..to no avail, so I decided last night at 6pm to change his bottles as he started screaming so much during the day . Clinching his fists and was not a happy chappy ... So sent hubby off to asda to pick up some DrBrown bottles ........ He made it back for me to sterilise them ready for his next feed and WOW the results were instant !!!! After feed no screaming :) . He finally looked relaxed and was flat out ... I've never has a floppy head while trying to wind him . Always been tense and holding it up ...

Wouldn't have know what to do or try without your ladies advice . Would have never thought colic x Thanks ladies xx

Have you learned baby massage at all?
Also letting them lie on their front is meant to help x
