My almost 3 week old baby keeps being sick and is generally grizzly, I BF In the day but she has formula at night. Yesterday over an hour after a BF she was sick when laying back to change her nappy. At least 10 hours since she had any formula in her system. This has happened on more than one occasion. We wind her for ages and try to keep her upright as hates being on her back. Hubby convinced it's since we changed her to hipp organic from cow and gate, I'm not so sure. She was sick last night after hubby fed her but not when I did few hours later. I tend to bottle feed her flat while hubby tilts her. Also seems like she has tummy ache a lot, always grizzly just before she leaves us a poop. I'm going to try and get a doctors appointment but just wondered if anyone has any tips or advice x

Never feed flat, keep her upright after bottles, what bottles are you using? Change to anti colic- Dr Browns or something - it helps both colic and reflux

With cottage cheese like sick +2 hours after feeds is reflux, pain during feeding , socking up clear fluid, in pain etc. Ask for gaviscon to start

Raise her Moses basket mattress with some towels so she's not flat - it should help.

Reflux is a slow, painful journey to balence. Still going through it at 16 months now! ( I've kept it brief as I'm about to go to bed - if you want any more advice/ info - pm me or join living with reflux FB group x)

We use a neck support pillow to sit Hayden in when feeding him, saves my arm aching and he is raised enough then. He can do his full bottle without coming up for air like that.

It's like beany material so moulds to his shape.

Hope your little one is ok xxx

Thank you for the pointers Charlie and mummybexee I'll look into getting a cushion and poss raising how she sleeps, on mattress. I'm currently using tommee tipped slow release bottles, I'll look into the Dr brown ones, my friends use them on their LOs. Wow 16 months must be tough at times. I'll look into this baby gaviscon too. :)

Tonnes tipped are garbage! Rebound for making reflux and colic worse. You'd be surprised what a difference some Dr Browns and even reflux milk if your not BF can make

Yes raise her sleeping position that will help alittle as you havnt done those yet xx

Thanks, I'm definitely going to look at getting these bottles. Im guessing you can use normal milk formula in them. She has been better today although sick twice once when I was about to nap.
