ok .. So not planned at all but I'm a week late and have just got a positive test.
I am shaking !! I really don't know how I feel !!

Olly is 2 next month and we only have 2 bedrooms !!

Oh wow - congratulations!

James was 18 months when we got BFP (we were ntnp. but had just decided to put baby number 2 on hold and we only had sex once that cycle!!) so we were a little shocked when we found out baby number 2 was on it's way. And we lived in a one bedroom place.

Second time around was different in many ways, and yes slightly harder BUT I managed to work full time until 38w, move house at 30w and look after a toddler when I was home.... You basically do what you have to do.

It's been complete chaos since Bee arrived but it's been a time full of love and happiness and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Also don't worry about the bedroom situation, kids don't "need" their own room... at least not until they are much older [I am thinking if they are b/g]

We only had 1 accident 2 weeks ago, and because my cycles have been between 3 and 7 weeks I didn't think id get caught but obviously I have !! And I only had treatment for high grade cervical cancer cells in Jan which put me in hospital for a few days. I really hope I don't end up high risk because of that, I havnt had my 6 month clear yet xx

Holiday will be fine. I went away when I was 8-9w (given the fact ive had 4 miscarriages I was surprisingly relaxed!!!)

The hospital will advise re: the cell issue but I know my friend got pregnant after her biopsy for the highest grade cells. It was a good few years ago but I can ask her for some info? I know her treatment was postponed but cannt quite remember what her treatment was.

Try not to stress too much. Its a surprise but a lovely one?

Awwww congratulations hun, everything will work out don't worry. I only have a 2 bed house too but I am sure the kids will enjoy sharing as they get older. Me and my brother had to share a room for a few years and it was fine x

Congratulations! I've just welcomed our second son into the world yesterday. Our eldest is only just turned two, we only live in a two bedroom and we planned this baby very much!! I've spent the last few months telling myself OH and I are insane!! I don't honestly know what to tell you what it's like cos I'm still in hospital, but even just the meeting between my two boys has been a million times better than I'd thought. So I'm sure all will work out ok!

There will be a lovely age gap between them and they can share for a long time (boy or girl) so that's not something to worry about!

Hi carnat yes if you could ask your friend for advice that would be fab. I had treatment end of January and they cut part of my cervix away and I bleed a lot after, they told me not to try unil after the 6 month check up which should be in about 10 weeks time.
I told my parents last night and they were over the moon, they are going to lend us some money for a deposit for a new house - the one I currently live in is worth much less than when I bought it and I will loose all the money I put down and more, my dad helped me buy it so we are going to rent it out. Me and my brother have the same age difference between us and my mam managed so I'm even more determined now.

Now the hard part is telling my best friend - we had some banter last night because she is late too and I told her to test and she told me to test but I put her off because since treatment my periods have been ridiculous. My last bleed was the 28th of March but it was very light for 2 days, which didn't worry me because I went 7 half weeks once. So I'm fading that as my lady period , I bought 3 cheapie tests yesterday from home bargains and the lines are so so dark and they came up within seconds. I'm actually thinking am I further than I think ? I was thinking of buying a digi but they are expensive and I don't know what else it can tell me.

If be Digi comes up 3+ you'll know your already 5+ weeks pregnant and perhaps need an early scan to see how far you are. They are a bit pricy but it is fun seeing it in words

Do you not think your friend will be happy for you? Has she been ttc for long?

Lovely that your parents are helping out with a deposit. Lots of people I know rent out their house and rent another to live in, much better than selling at a massive loss.

I went to Asda and they only had the double pack of digis and they were £16 !!! So I bought 2 asdas own, the line came up straight away and is so bold !!

My best friend has been trying since she got married last Sep, had a miscarriage in Feb but had to have help from hospital as it didn't clear itself , the last 2 months she has been symptom spotting abs texting me every day , another close friend of hers also found out she was pregnant 3 weeks after this happened and I was her shoulder .. She was gutted it wasn't her !
I'm not saying a word to anybody until after iv spoken to the hospital about my issues and also had a scan, I'm hoping she has had a bfp by then

I had a similar experience with my bf, couple of mc between us and 2 years of trying for her and we ended up having babies 2 weeks apart. I had to tell her I was pregnant first, I was sobbing and she was happy for me!

Sounds like you might be further on than you first thought! wouldn't it be fab to miss a big chunk of tri 1 ) xxx

I'm going to ring the doctors on Tuesday and ask for the midwives number so I can call them straight away. I'm really worrying more about having part of my cervix removed - I don't know what they will need to do xx
