Really, really, reallt itchy skin

I know this sounds awful but I have terrible itchy skin, the doctors thought that it might be eczema but I am not sure, my skin is so hot and is covered in red itchy bumps, it's all over my tummy, arms and legs. It has got to the point now where I can't sleep and all I want to do is itch even though I know I shouldn't. It's really starting to get me down I don't want the next 10-12 weeks to be like this.

The doctors can't really do anything, they gave me some mild steroid cream which didn't make any difference so I am thinking of going to a Chinese herbalist to see if they can give me anything, it just makes the days so long being so itchy all the time.

Sorry I know there isn't much point to this but I just needed to rant a bit.

omg poor you

I have Urticaria and can take loratidine to help with the itchiness, you could try asking your GP for some? You can buy it over the counter but there were varing responses about that on a hayfever thread a while ago, some people though it was no good during pregnancy......

If all else fails, a cool bath should help if only for a while
