Rattly throat

Jacob has had a rattly throat for ages and sometimes it gets so bad that he wakes up gargling and then he panics and it is really hard to calm him down. I try to have him in the bathroom when either of us shower so he can get the steam, but that hasn't shifted it. Does anyone know how I can help him clear his throat? It's kind of cute but very sad that he is always "ahehemming."

I'd pop to the doctors and say you've already tried steam have they got any better ideas... Ryan had similar although his was more of a rattly breathing if that makes sense? Not sure if that's the same as you but he's on an inhaler now (not to say he's got asthma but it relieves the symptoms). x
