i was in established labour for about 27 hours i think

i thought raspberry leaf tea tasted horrible wish i never wasted my money hehe  as it oboviously didn't work :x wel not for me anyways

My labour from first twinge was 41 hours.

My little boy got his head stuck after 1 1/2 hours of pushing. I then had to stop pusing for 3 hours while i had hospital transfer. Don't know if it worked! Imagine if it did...................................!!!!!

I was anemic at end of pregnacy and it really helped bring iron levels up.

It has loads more properties than just speding up labour!

Good wif yrs

theres no way any midwife would let you go 27 hours in established labour. its too stressful on the baby and you.
i think they consider alternative methods of delivery after 6 hours of 'established labour'' cos its deemed as prolonged labour.
i could be wrong but thats what i ve always been led to believe.

Budge you're kinda right.

I was 25 hours 'established' but they were talking C-section after about 8. I pleaded and begged not to but they were getting ready to wheel me down when another doctor 'snipped and sucked'

Stanley WAS in distress though and had ingested meconium, I think the doctor was peed off that I objected so strongly to surgery

Back to O/T I drank LOADS of tea from 35 weeks but it didn't help me. Maybe induction's different?

i was being prepped for a section after 24hours of labour just as i was about to go to threate which was 36 hours of labour the midwife said i was 10cm'c dialated and asked me could i push so i did :)

before i sound stupid what do you all mean by established labour?

before you all say it yeah i know i'm stupid

I never took the tablets and my labour was from first twinge 16 hours. Established labour onwards was about 6 hours :cheer:

I would have to disagree with that, i arrived at the hospital at 9pm on the wednesday night, when examined i was 3-4 cms dilated and having 3 contractions every 10 minutes, it took me until 3.45pm the following afternoon to get to fully dilated and whilst i had to be monitored to ensure Charlie wasnt in distress, and was eventually put on the syntocin drip at 1pm on the thursday there was never any mention of alternative methods of delivery as neither me or the baby were in distress (well i was obviously pretty distressed but the gas and air helped!!!) I as told if the drip hadnt speeded things along then they would have looked at a section but as we had both been coping there was no need to interfere.

During my 1st pregnancy, i took rasberry red leaf tea from about 35 weeks believing it would bring my labour on sooner. I am convinced it just made the contractions stonger and more painful. I was in labour a total of 8 hours which isn't that long, but it was down to the tea i think.

Will be trying labour without it this tine it think! ................ :D

My Labour overall was 1hr 35 mins & i drank it  My Nan & Mums Labours were very short though so that could be why mine was
