rant!!

hi girls
went out last nite to the local pub first time been out since falling pg and it was really nice everyone congratulating us but WHY does everyone want to touch my bump!!!! (only just showing so its more like fat)
i've never done that to anyone apart for my bezze mate and then that was to feel it kick. why do people feel the need?
AND... WHY say "ooh your showing already i think your going to be massive!!!" What! i've only put on 3lb and a size 12 so what are they going on about
so when home at 9.30 fed up with people touching me and saying how big i've got
Has anyone else had this??

A really really skinny girl at work said to me 'wow you're huge, I think it's twins!!' when I was about 16 weeks.
Granted I'd probably put on a stone by then but still!!!

I normally don't mind people touching my bump but a really pissed stranger made a grab for it in the pub on saturday and that was a bit much! I dodged out the way!

People have been saying to me for a while no how big I am - to be honest I love it! I'm usually really small though and love having this bump.....I probably won't love it so much when I'm really big when I'm waddling about and look really fat!

As for people touching my bump - I don't mind friends doing it, but if anyone else tries I think I'd touch them up too and see how they like it!

I dont mind some people touching my bump now but back when i was less pregnant it was just a wobbily tummy so i did get annoyed.

I don't like people touching my bump. Only OH or DS plus OH's younger sister have so far and I really would hate it if people generally thought it ok to touch.

I do get a bit sensitive when people comment on my size too. I dunno why, maybe because I've battled with my weight for years, I just think it's a bit personal to comment about. (I found it's usually women who feel they just HAVE to say something).

yeah it was mostly women that said it
and yesterday my SIL boyfriends mum said "hello porky, you've put on loads of wieght since the wedding, how much of that is from the baby"
How rude!!!! i just walked off
yeah ok i lost a stone 4 my wedding and i have put it all back on but i was really skinning 4 my wedding and i'd regained that by oct many because of the ectopic
do you think i'm just being too sensitive?

How rude I lost a stone for my wedding last year and put it all back on just before I got pg and my mil did make a comment about it but DH told her where to go I really don't think she meant to be mean but I know exactly how you feel.

As for touching the bump I don't mind friends or family but I would certainly draw the line with a complete stranger.
