I just want to yell it out to the world!

I think I'm going to burst!!

I want to tell people and get baby things and go all gaga!
And with it being my birthday I just want everyone to know!!!

So tell them! You've done really well to keep it quiet this long. Treat yourself and tell people the chances of anything going wrong now are so low. If I was you I would just tell them. Oh and happy birthday

I think it's good to tell people asap, just be open about your previous issues

My friend kept her last pregnancy 100% secret because of previous issues and with hindsight i think it made it all the worse when the pregnancy ended.

It was really quite traumatic and basically she had to depend on her family and friends and therefore word got out.

So people weren't just dealing with the shock of the pregnancy ending, they were shocked she was 12 week pregnant in the first place so she was asked questions like "were you trying for a baby?" "when did you find out?" "why didn't you tell anyone?" or comments like "oh i knew there was something going on!" etc when she had just lost the baby...

If she had told them and kept them informed, i think people wouldn't have been so unintentionally inconsiderate.

Well, we've already told parents etc etc.... just because if anything did go wrong, we'd need a support system.
But I promised not to tell the wider world - i.e friends, aunts, cousins etc until 12 weeks.... only 7 more days to go!!

You've not got too much longer Hun I didn't tell most people I was pregnant til I was 19 weeks 2nd time! Was due back at work after mat leave and wanted to get my feet back under the table first

I told my family and a couple of close friends when i was 6 weeks trying to tell the rest now however an evil person at work has leaked it out. But tell people if you really want to, just make sure you don't burst My neighbour has just revieled she's pregnant and shes due some time in March so it's really up to you, don't let previous things jump up on you enjoy being pregnant and enjoy sharing it with the world. xx

I told two aquaintances of my OH's who we met in the street today, they brought it up and I nearly chewed their arms off in my rush to let them know!

When's your scan hun? I was so desperate to tell people so I txt my friend saying I'm pregnant and she was like I know you've told me!! I just really wanted to say those words to someone even though she already knew lol

Lacey's Mummy, I'm trying to get my scan for August 19th, as I have a kidney ultrasound that day, and theycan do it at the same time.
