If you had the chance to go back and study to better your career but still work full time, would you do it while LO is young or would you wait for a few years? X x

Hey hun....I've just finished my degree...did my dissertation while I was 8 months pg....the course was three years and took up the majority of my spare time.... I wouldn't personally do it again while LO is young as I want to spend all my spare time with her :)

That's only my experience though....or you could study when LO is in bed? I like to go to bed early though lol xx

Personally I would wait a few years as I want to spend as much time with my LO as I can while she is still little. But I am not really a career person, so my work would always come second to my LO.

I could study while the kids are in bed but i dont want it to take up all my spare time as with two little ones under the age of 5, i never know whats going to happen!
Its something that i can and i am willing to put on hold but just want to see what you ladies think x x

If you can do it when theyre in bed that'd be perfect hun....I know I wouldn't be able to as am normally in bed by 9ish lol zzzzzz

Is it a course that you could start and then defer if it's proving too difficult with the kiddies? xx

I'm planning on doing this if I can. I'm currently a nurse and want to go back to Uni and do my midwifery would b 18mths. Waiting till I go back to work to see if the trust r still sending a few to Uni on full pay.
Think if your able to study at night then go for it xxx

I will found out if i could defer it but with work funding it, i wouldnt want them to think my heart isnt in it.
Think i need to sit down and work out the hours of study and see if it is doable.
Thanks for you advise ladies x x

Good luck Hun hope you get sorted xxx

It might be easier before they are too old, and they still have early bedtimes. Xxx

What is it? I done a 2 year postgraduate while working full time and I can honestly say I couldn't do it now LO is here, it literally took up all my spare time but I was handing in 3000-6000 word reports every few months. Really don't want to sound negative coz I'm thrilled iv done it but the thought of doing it now  xx
