Quick question for a friend. Her LO is 3 months but won't take a bottle. Have suggested to try another type to see if she'll take that.

She's currently using tommy tipper ones

What would you all recommend for her to try?

Mam anti colic are great for us! The teats are made of silk so not as rubbery xxxxxx

I dunno if anything would work. I was reading the other day that after a certain amount if weeks a babies sucking reflex goes so they will never take one. Dunno how true this is. I tried TT, NUK, Avent, a doidy cup, TT sippy cup and a Nuby pressure flow (?) beaker. The TT cup I think can be used from 4 months Nuby cup 4-6 I think. Has she tried a tea spoon and let LO lap milk off it?

Like pinky said she might not succeed with this now if the baby has been ebf.

She could try a medela calma bottle, they aren't cheap though!

The tommee tippee ones work for us now but I had tried all sorts. I like the look of the NUK teats but T wouldn't take them.

She'll have to persist with it though, it's quite upsetting tbh. :( I found doing it when she was hungriest was the best time.

we use the avent ones and seems to work, we tried medela calma but he hated it :(

T didnt like it either, which is strange cos its meant to be the dogs danglers

i thoughts so to! flipping expensive as well! we have 2 teats we dont use as i had bought one then we got one free with the swing pump we bought! useless!

I've got a swing pump too and the teat we got I've never got Harry to take. They're really thin aren't they?

She's been trying since she was about 6 weeks old but just had no luck!

what a shame! how about trying one of these cup things? x

I never realised there was a teat in the box *sterilises teat* if Tyler takes it anyone will!

:( ive yet to hear from someone that the calma worked for.

Heeh thanks God I only got 1 of those. I better go get some simple medela bottles then??

i use the medela swing pump and milk storage bags then use avent bottles.
