Questions about discharge

Some background first: I came off the pill on the 10th October with the intention to start trying after I got my first real AF, not the withdrawal that you get once stop. I had withdrawal from 14th-16th and all normal for me after finishing a pill pack. After this I just began the wait for real AF. I didn't plan on tracking discharge or anything like that but I did notice about a week or so ago that I had slippery discharge. I thought this may be ovulation. Then today when I woke up I had jelly like discharge that was clear. After reading online I think this may be EWCM? I'm a bit confused though as I thought that was what the slippery discharge I had before was? I have also had some cramps for the last week so thought that AF may be making an appearance but no show yet. Also, even though we planned on waiting for real AF we have been having unprotected sex. If it's ovulation this time then at least I will have some idea of when I should be due AF so will have more of an idea of when i could do a test as well, although I doubt I will get pregnant so early in to trying.
