being big (size 20) i dont look pregnant yet, but they say you should start to feel quickening from 16 weeks on (i am 17 plus 5) when did you ladies start to feel anything?
this is my first baby.
I wasn't big when i had my first and i didn't feel anything till i was about 20-21 weeks. I have been bigger with my last 2 pregnancys and i have felt them from about 15 weeks so i don't think my size made a difference to me.
I started to feel very very faint movement at about 19 weeks. You're supposed to start feeling them between 16-22 but closer to the 22 weeks if you're bigger. Don't worry, it won't be long!

I was size 16 post preg, curvy and a pot belly....felt kicks at around 16 weeks, still only feel gentle movements now, and OH cant feel them at all with his hand on my tummy...
My work pal is due same day as me, she was a tiny size 8 before PG, wtched her tummy moving around today as baby kicked, I was so jealous!!! I just feel like my flabby belly has gone bigger, but its still jelly like to touch, not all tight like I imagined!!
I get embarrassed when people want to touch my belly, as it just feels fat to me!!! xx
i am a size 14/16 and i felt mine move for the first time last week so i was 19 weeks. they do say though it can be up to 22 weeks, hope you feel it soon though as it is very reassuring especially when you haven't heard heartbeat or had a scan for a while.
thanks guys am starting to feel a bit anxious about it as i have to wait another month for scan. 22 weeks.
i was lucky i did hear heartbeat at 12 week scan.
dont worry hun everyones different my consultant told me it makes no difference what size you are as movements are felt inside anyway
i was size 20 on my first child and felt movement at about 17 weeks im sure it wont be much longer before you feel your little one moving

I didnt feel DD who was 1st child until about 20-22 weeks and I was 7 and half stone wet through so dont think size makes any difference hun. Your tummy muscles inside are tighter with 1st hence why they say you can feel earlier with 2nd and subsequent.
