question about newborn needs..

This probably sounds a dumb question but a few outfits i have bought have got hats with them is this just to wear when they go out or do newborns need to wear hats indoors to keep there head warm?

Stanley never wore hats indoors but ten he was born at the end of the Summer!

You'll judge it as and when I suspect. In a chilly room a hat will come in handy but when it's warm and babies looking pink you won't bother.

my HV told me that we shouldn't give Logan a hat indoors - but they tell you to in the hospital! Logan has loads of hair though so we didn't bother...

newborn hats were to small for aaliyah but I had to force them on in hospital coz they told me to put her one on. (stupid horrible midwifes, tellin me how be a mum lol) but at home she diddn't wear one unless it was really cold. But most times she wears one when she's out unless the weather decides to be okay, sometimes ive taken her out of her pram when she's had a hat on ans she's been sweating so sometimes I just put her hood up because the rain cover is on 9 times out on ten.

ul know if bubba needs a hat when u see what the weathers like, its good to have on ejust in case tho!!

I was told not to put a hat on indoors and to remove it as soon as you go into a warm place.

I put a hat on Zac if we go out and it seems a bit chilly, if not I just put a jacket on and put his hood up

I put a hat on my LO in hospital which i thought it made sense because he was new to the outside world whereas in the womb he was so used to being kept warm and snug.

However, with the central heating being on in the house i just left it off. I do put one on when we go out though coz it's still really cold at the mo.

I put a Hat on Harry indoors for the first week or so because he was born in October & it was very chilly in our room even with the Rad on
