Question about ewcm

Hi, I'm just wondering, for anyone who tracks their ewcm, how long before ovulation does it start?
Mine seems to be starting earlier each month. Before tracking it I would notice it for about 4 days before I ovulated. Last month it started on cycle day 9. I ov on day 14 and had a 28 day cycle.
This month it started on day 7! I'm now on day 9. My husband will be away for a few days after tonight, what are the chances of me falling pregnant if we had sex tonight? I have read so many different opinions on how long sperm can survive inside. I would probably ovulate in 5 days.

I was wondering this too as I've had ewcm since day 7 lol but no positive opk yet. I'd say sperm can survive up to 5 days/a week I heard so could still be in with a chance xx

Ewcm starts in the fertile period, it varies, some women get days of it and some never see it. Some months I don't see any and other months I have it from 1-3 days before a positive opk. They say you are most fertile on the very last day that you see ewcm. This was true for me as I caught by dtd only once that month on the last day of ewcm. xx

This month I only got it on the Wed Thurs and then O'd on the Sat or Sun.
