Leif has today started putting the legs from his arch toy in his mouth and chewing them

It wouldnt be cause he is teething already would it?

He is gorgeous hun! That last pic is adorable!

They can start teething at any age, Brody started at 2 months - still no teeth but he has good and bad days with the pain!

Libby loves shoving stuff into her mouth.....the dribble as well....my word! I think she's started teething as she also has very red cheeks and loves to bite on my finger too!

He does dribble quite a bit but has done for a couple of weeks or so.

Bless....he could be starting to feel his teeth pushing down. I bought a great thing for Libby when hers started, its by MAM and is like a bunny thing, you put your fingers in the ears so you can stick it in the mouth....!!!

It is normal for them to explore things with their mouth, so although it could be teething pains, without other symptons, he is probably just doing that. It is all part of the learning process. Ellie started at about 3months IIRC, and everything new she encounters has to go in her mouth as well as be touched and looked at.
