Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but i didnt know where to put it.

I think i may have a prolapsed bladder but i am not sure.

When i go for a wee i get this really strange sensation that i want to desperately pee even though i am already going it feels wierd, also if i crouch down with my legs apart i get a wierd sensation can anybody tell me what this is? I have made an appointment for the doctors Wednesday and have called the health visitor and left a message on her answer phone but i want someone to tell me what it is. :(

Post pregnancy health bit would probably be the best bit to put this question in.

In response to your question. It hasn't been that long since you've had your baby and it takes a bit of time for things to feel normal again. I had a quick delivery, no stitches and tiny tear and I'm only really feeling normal down there recently. It takes a while  . Doesn't hurt to get it checked by the doc though if you think there's a problem, that's what they are there for :D .

I don't think any one of us is qualified to tell you if you have a prolapse

But I don't think it sounds like a prolapse as iirc you would either have trouble weeing or be incontinent.

Chances are its just the after effects of labour and your body slowly returning to normal. Don't forget everything gets stretched, swollen and generally hammered when giving birth. Its all a bit pear shaped down there and can take weeks to feel more normal again. It was about 4-5 weeks after my son was born that I felt a bit more like things were getting back to how they should be down there.

If you go see your GP be prepared for an internal to check for a prolapse. TBH I'd say it was too soon and s/he might not want to go poking around up there just yet. I was 6 weeks or so gone before I had an internal to check for a prolapse. And I had severe incontinence and no feeling whatsoever which made them suspect a prolapse.

well i am not peeing myself (YET) just that really horible sensation health visitor phoned back she said see if i could get seen sooner by doctor i asked for a female one so im ready for an internal i am praying its not a prolapse  hv said it might be a horrible water infection but i dont have stinging when weeing......... well suppose its just wait and see what doc says.
