I'm not sure about the progesterone Hun, but just wanted to offer some reassurance. I have a short Luteal phase too. Av is 10-12 days. And I had a pregnancy in December.

Hopefully you will get some bloods done and you can get some answers. Maybe do as much research as u can and then go with a list of questions and requests of test you may need X

If that doc isn't helpful ask to see another one who is. Can you request to see a specialist at hospital?

Docs sometimes are crap. They don't understand.

Leutal phase 10 days is not very short but it's on the border.

Take 1000 ml of vitamin C every day. It will lengthen it naturally. Do you take any vitamins?

    Hope it helps.

I tried Angus cactus and it made my cycle longer 27/28/29 but it felt strange to me as I'm used to been on every 3 weeks. I've also started taking epo and pregacare vits, so here's hoping we all get good news. We are all 10/10 for trying. X

I was told to take vitamin D as there is not enough sun yet.

My mix is vitamin C,D,B , zinc B complex. And then beetroot juice every day.

EPO shortens the cycle! Once you stop taking it your cycle will go back to normal x

Hi hun, epo shortened my cycle from 29 days to 24 days, I've had to stop it purely for that reason x

Agnus Castus also lengthened my cycle when I first started taking it, but it has dropped back down a bit again recently.

I have had symptoms of low progesterone for years and years (endometriosis, fibroids & cysts) I went to see a private hormone specialust, who prescribed a bio-identical cream. I used that for a couple of years and then a few months later conceived my son really easily.

This time around we've been TTC for almost a year with no success & my endo symptoms are flaring up with a vengeance but bizarrely, when I had my 21 day bloods done in Sept, my progesterone level was really high, like pregnancy high even though I was a BFN that month. Was so bizarre.

I really hope that you get to the bottom of it! Have you had blood tests done? If not that is the first thing they should be doing.

I have a short lutheal phase. Typically 8/9 days on a 22 day cycle. I started taking b6 as well as a conception vitamin, and last cycle was 28 days. Different things seem to work for different people.
Docs didn't really seem all that bothered and took bloods at the wrong time in my cycle 🙄
I had an ectopic, and a lutheal phase of about 10 days. I conceived my little boy 2 cycles in once I'd recovered from the ectopic. So it's definitely possible :)

Thank u girls feel like no doctor has listened to me over the last 2 years with my ectopic that was brushed off as a cyst and it was my own instincts that lead me to realising it and since then all these different problems they still don't listen .....so nice to speak to you all and understand the same things ... Never had my bloods done .....the only thing I've been tested for is my thirod coz of my hair thinning over the last 2years and still is......if I carry on taking the Angus cactus will that throw off my bloods if I have them done xx

Hi I don't know if this will help but when I went for an ivf appointment the nurse there mentioned that they give women metformin because that can help increase progesterone x

When we were trying to coneive I was concerned about my progesterone levels. My 21 day bloods were always ok'ish and my leutal phase was fine but I would experience spotting for about a week before af. My consultant put me on progesterone supplements and we conceived after a few months xx
