New Features:

Post likes - you can like posts now.

Alerting - you can send alerts by @'ing a member like @SniperHF. You will also receive alerts for quotes by default. You can change how these settings work in the preferences:

Mood Chooser - Emotes for your profile pic:

Drag and Drop reply box - you can now easily upload attachments by dragging and dropping pictures.


Known issues:

1. Posts have garbled characters in them

This should only apply to some posts made before the change to the new forum. Going forward it shouldn't be a problem​

Clicked on the link for the Mood Chooser and there is an error page?

Also a few of us girls have noticed that when clicking on a thread it brings up posts from back in 2005. It doesn't automatically put the most recent at the top?
There is an option to change this but once you come off that page and go back in you have to change the option again.
Is this something that can be changed? Most active and most recent should be at the top of the thread at all times. x

raising the same concern as chattychar. The forum groups seems to bring up old posts from 2005. I have manually re-arranged the posts, however, when returning to the main page after reading a post the 2005 posts are back at the top and you have to re-arranged again. This is very frustrating and time-consuming when answering more than 1 post in each category. Can this be rectified?

The Mood chooser should work now. Click where is says NO MOOD under your name to change it.
If you tell us which forum(s) are sorted backwards we can fix them. TTC is fixed.

One thing that comes up a lot is the posts / threads per page setting:

Go to your preferences:
https://pregnancyforum.momtastic.com/account/preferences

And at the bottom increase the number of posts/threads per page:


I like 30.

Here's a few new things to make the forum more usable.

Toggle width - Default is fixed width. Use the toggle control on the bottom left to expand to full screen.
Collapsible side column - available only to members, control on upper right above forum list on forum home
Quick Navigation - control on upper right next to sidebar toggle.

The new format isn’t very mobile friendly, which is disappointing when I usually use my phone or iPad to log on. On my phone, the large adverts make it unusable.
