preschool vouchers

Ok seems a long way off yet but in another sense not really....does anyone know anything about the preschool vouchers children are entitled too that basically pay for a child to attend preschool in the year or two before they start primary school. I've read bits and pieces but nothing that kinda ties the whole thing together.

If you have an older toddler that recieves them, were they sent automatically, did you have to apply and so forth?

i am just going through this at the moment hun, every child is entitled to 15 hours of free nursery eduaction a week from the term after their 3rd birthday this can be at a private nursery or a school nursery, most school nurseries offer sessions but at a private nursery you can use the 15 hours as you wish ie they can go for 2 and a half if that suits you better or you can choose so many hours per day its up to u and the nursery will sort out all the paper work for them, if you need any more info pm me i have looked into it alot the last few weeks
