Hi girls

Just wanted a wee bit of advice or reassurance really from anyone who has a blood clotting problem that's gone onto have a successful pregnancy. I've had 3 early miscarriages and they've since discovered I have low anti thrombin 3 and a rare homozygous genetic condition which can affect clotting. I just got bfp 2 days ago and I'm currently taking high dose folic acid, baby aspirin and Pregnacare. Got appointment with dr on Monday to see what else I might need to take.

Any general lifestyle or diet changes that anyone could recommend?

Any help welcome.

Thanks xxx

Hello! Congrats! My doctors thought I might have a clotting condition that develops IN pregnancy as I had had so many miscarriages. I'm 23 weeks and this time I've taken and I'm still taking, aspirin, high dose folic acid and progesterone. We don't actually know which helped, if any so I've carried on taking them all.
I know this doesn't answer your question directly but you have a diagnosis which means you'll be monitored, as I have been so you have a really good chance. Fingers crossed! Xxxxx
