Hi all,

I've had a miscarriage in november after 5.5 weeks. On new year's day I found out I'm pregnant again: 4 weeks and 4 days now (I know because I tracked my ovulation with tests). I'm taking pregnancy tests every day to see if the second line isn't fading, and every time I go to the toilet I check for blood. I'm quite nervous and haven't really allowed myself to be happy. I keep fearing it might go wrong again, although I have more symptoms now compared to last time...

Any advice on how to start trusting my body again?

Sorry to hear this daisy. I had a mmc in sept and just got my bfp a few days ago. It is hard to trust your body again but research suggests there is a really good chance youll got onto have a healthy pregnancy this time. I think i read an 86% chance so thats pretty high. Unfortunately, whether our pregnancies progress are out of our control most of the time so there is not a lot more we can do that we arent doing already (healrhy balanced diet, gentle exercise, avoid caffiene and alcohol etc). Join us in the sept thread where youll get the support you need to get through these first few anxious weeks.hope this one is a sticky bean x

Hi, I've just posted much the same thing. I had an early loss in May after nearly a year of trying. Have been in IVF list and had just given up. I was intending on ringing to see about going privately on Monday&got my BFP. I'm so scared it will end as this means the world to me-life just seemed to be all better when I found out although 6hours later I was a nervous, worrying wreck

It's just such a rollercoaster of emotions. Happiness, worry, hopeful, anxious...

@melly41 I will join the september thread indeed, thank you for suggesting it.

@babbybo I'm hoping you'll have a sticky bean too! I guess the worry doesn't end till you finally have your baby in your arms...

Sorry to her that babbyboo. Its such a horrible thing to go through. Hope to see both of you over in sept thread

Thanks. I'm hoping so too. Only 4+1 today I think. I've been keeping up to date on September thread but afraid to sign up just yet.

I can understand why but it might give you some support in these first few anxious days. We are here when youre ready x

Hugs!

I'm the same, but mine was last year.

I feel *more* pregnant this time and last time was accident and i had taken morning after pill ans bled few days later. My OH doesn't think it was a MC but doctor said wasnt related so not sure but I can relate with worry and checking after every wee!
