Hi everyone!
I'm having my first pregnancy, I'm 7 weeks, 6 days today
I've done a scan a week ago and doctor could hear a good heart beat. I was very excited
the thing is, last weeks I had some light nausea but I don't feel anything since than. I feel very good. So good that I'm worrying som. is not right...
I hope HCG is not falling!!!

What do you say?

Hey, and welcome

A lot of ladies on here have posted numerous times about their symptoms coming and going, and think there are some on here, who have hardly suffered (lucky buggers, lol!).

I had a scan last week, so similar time to you, and it was great seeing this little heart going mad! However, same as you, if im ever feeling 'normal', than I start to panic.
I think its completly normal for symptoms to tail off around this time as your body gets used to all the hormones floating around.
It wont sop us worrying though, hey - bring on the 12 week scan!!

Good luck x

Before about 8 weeks my nausea would come and go, and then even after that it wasn't terrible. Its the only real symptom .. well apart from my craving for an abnormal amount of boiled eggs .. I had thru out the pregnancy.

Im sure everything is fine hun - some people have next to no symptoms and easy pregnancy some like myself and others on here have one then another - but either way is fine gets the same much loved baby at the end x

Thank you very much Lea and Chaos!
Chaos, it's funny, I'm craving for boiled eggs also, but I enjoy fruits and vegetables a lot
I will try not to panic, I love so much this baby already!

I really worried about this too ! but really done my research, and around this time the placenta takes over most of your hormones so they are really ballancing out, and cause its mainly all the hormones that cause most pregnancy symptoms when your placenta balances out the hormones most of them disapear :) so chin up ! xx

Hi, sorry its not on your subject really but i was wondering why some women have scans earlier than 12 weeks? x

I paid for a private one, just for reassurance. It was £49, which I thought was really reasonable, and she checked my ovaries, womb lining, etc as well, and even got little pics! I think most ladies on here end up having them, unfortuantly, becuase they have some kind of scare, and the early pregnancy unit (EPU) will do early scans that way. x

I had mine because I felt a pain(lower left side) that I dind't knew if it's normal or not. They wanted to exclude an ectopic pregnancy. The scan showed that the baby is in the right place and he had a heartbeat! so I was very pleased.
I think 12 weeks is way to long to expect for a scan, worring every day and not be able to enjoy proper the pregnancy.

I had no symptoms with my 2 children. I had symptoms with my 3rd pregnancy, but mc. I've had symptoms this time round too, but the nausea & dizziness disappeared all of a sudden one day just after I hit 8 weeks.

Re the early scans, if you're unsure of LMP, had bleeding or pain, they will normally offer you an early scan.
x
