well i understand i will gain alot of weight and its not what bothers me really, the thing is my midwife told me not more then 2 stones as im already overweight. I dont want it to be a problem for my little boy or for me so i dont want to gain more then 2 stones.

So my question to you girls that have been trough pregnancy is.. when in your pregnancy did you gain most weight?

i think in the last tri is when you put on most weight as baby fattens up ready for birth. I never weigh myself in pregnancy tho as i think itd depress me but up till 27weeks id only put on 8lb and baby was only 3lb 1oz then but obviously got weight of placenta etc too :) x

I put on 4 stones with Eva  but alot was water retention
This time I've put on between 1.5 and 2 stones
I think everyone's different chick. Don't let weight get you down though. There's seriously HUGE women out there having healthy babies :)

At the beginning of third tri is when I put on the most. But I havn't weighed myself lately. Last time I had a look I had gained almost 2 stone and that was around 2 months ago, but decided not to worry myself.

Tyr not to worry about it too much, you'll gain however much your body feels you need to. :)

i lost weight at the beginning because of my sickness and by the end had put on 1 stone, so was pretty much back to my normal weight after the birth (im a little smug, but things are still saggy) but i was slightly overweight to begin with so think it was just my body getting itself to its optimum for pregnancy

I was MASSIVE with my first, by the end of 30 weeks people asked was I due soon. I hammered it all on at the start. Just eat normally and if poss a bit healthier and nod at the midwife...well that was attitude about most things in pregnancy  between 5 different MWs I was fedup of the conflicting 'opinions' because half the time I think some 'advice' is based on just that!
