Hiya

is anyone exercising? I didn’t because I was so tired at the beginning and my job is quite stressful so that topped with tiredness and nausea I just couldn’t be bothered!

I also had to stop walking everywhere because I have really bad hip pain (not spd as its only one side) and now I just feel horrible my legs and arms are HUGE (granted I haven’t been eating the most healthy stuff either) and I want to try and do some form of exercise to tone a bit

any ideas??

I've been feeling bad too, although I have managed to keep walking into work (and sometimes home). I've got a wii and I keep meaning to do some gentle exercise with that... Or some pregnancy yoga?

I used to walk from Charing x to bond street everyday which was great for my legs but I have this old hip injury coming back and I can’t walk very far at all now and I feel awful for it I have really noticed the difference!
I think im going to order a dvd and try with that I know I will loose it once baby is here because I will hopefully get my hip back to normal and will be able to go walking again but I dont want to not do anything for another 3 months

For anyone who has sky body in balance does pregnancy fitness I've got a few recorded just got to do them lol!! X

I muck two stables out each day, turn the poines out, walk the dogs, swim about 3 times a week and was going to the gym, but was struggling a little with all the above and a full time job, so cut the gym out about 3/4 weeks ago.

I did find at the begin really difficult to exercise and some where in the second trimester, but have found, if i gave myself a push i felt better for it and it does seem to ease pains, by moving and exercising.

Have to admit walk the dogs and mucking out does take a little longer than it use to ;)

I'm similar to country bumpkin, I muck ou and walk dogs daily as well as wii fit and being a personal trainer! So I recommend you keep exercising, just not as vigourously! An you shouldn't lie on your back to do any exercises or do any sit ups or anything like that. X

lol wow now I really feel lazy!! :)

I feel so much worse for the not walking but last time tried it I ended being off work for a week as my hip was bad I could sit up or walk! :-(

I have ordered a pregnancy exercise dvd which hopefully will help and Im waiting for physio for my hip so maybe they can help me with this too!

I have never done that much exercise apart from walking really as before I was a size 12 and not that fussed but now I feel horrible because I have had to stop my walking you can notice it so much!

I exercised throughout and only stopped going to the gym about 6 weeks before Seren was born. I was doing spin classes until about September, then through Sept and some of October I would just walk on the treadmill and go on the cross trainer. Even if you only manage to go out and walk for 10 or 15 minutes it will all help :)
