How long did it take you to fall pregnant after an ectopic pregnancy? I had my right tube removed 3 months ago and now wondering how long it will take to fall pregnant again?!

Any advice/personal stories very welcome!

Hi Hun , I had an ectopic in January , since then March was our first cycle TTC again.
Unfortunately I didn’t get my BFP but early days yet :) good luck to you x

sorry, no dir experiences. Just wanted to wish a positive result xx

I’m sorry to hear you had an ectopic pregnancy. It’s an awful awful thing to happen to a woman and one of the most stressful.

I had an ectopic pregnancy exactly 1 year ago on Saturday. I have a 10 week old baby boy. I had surgery on 31st March had a period on 28th April and caught the next cycle with a bfp around 22nd May. I know I’m super lucky but hang in there because it can happen quickly.

Also, as soon as you get your bfp get them to do your bloods and scan you in epau. I was so worried about another and loosing both tubes but they did monitor me very very closely. The sonographer told me that the egg was released from the side where the tube was missing as well - aren’t bodies amazing???

Best of luck with your Ttcing xx

Thank you so much for responding and sharing your happy news! I have spent weeks worrying about this and although initially your experience experience of having a ectopic was truly awful I’m also feeling a lot more reassured and hopeful now. We are waiting to test in just 4 days on first cycle of trying again so feeling nervous but also a little excited whilst praying for a BFP! Thank you for sharing your story and huge congratulations on the birth of your new baby boy! Xx
