Last week at my midwife appointment my urine was fine that im aware of, i mentioned awful pain in right rib but she said its probably the way baby is laying. the past week we feet/ankles have gone up and down swelling and yesterday and today so far I have an bad headache. I hate googling things and convincing myself I have the worst cause scenario. Has anyone known anyone had preeclampsia??

I don't have any experience of this but didn't want to just go. (Also ive fallen victim of over googling things in last 24hrs). If you're concern give doneone a call and just say the symptoms exactly like you just did and see what they say. They'll ptobably make you feel a million times better xxx
I had severe pre-eclampsia. It can present in so many ways. I pretty much had no symptoms bar a little swelling in my ankles from 27 weeks onwards, a massive migraine at around 28 weeks and another massive migraine at 35 weeks. Both migraines made me cry I was in so much pain and no painkiller would touch it. When my bp was at its worse (ironically post-delivery), I had a crushing achy sensation in my chest, like someone heavy was sitting on me.
I'm presuming your mw did your bp as well as checking your urine? Swelling can be a normal part of pregnancy. If you're at all worried, phone and get checked over. I'm sure everything is fine xx

I am currently in hospital with it! Thankfully its only mild tho! I have had protein in my urine, high BP and swelling on my feet (tho not ridiculous swelling,just a bit). Have been put on meds followed BP and they seem to be working
If you are worried hun I'd say call your maternity unit and speak to someone. They will be able to reassure you and check you over if needed.

I had it with my first. I had a pain in middle of my chest Dr thought it might have been indigestion but when I got checked over in the hospital my bp was very high and protein in my urine. I wad 33 Weeks exactly and he was delivered that evening by emergency c section.
I would definitely get checked over just to be sure xx

Ive been in and out of hospital with it for a few weeks now.
It started with my BP going up and protein in my urine.
Sometimes have to go in twice weekly for monitoring and checks. Ive had loads of bloods done to check as well the last few times have come baxk slightly raised but not by much. Then I had them done yesterday and they came back normal :/
They said if I keep getting the high blood pressure and protein in my urine then they will be delivering baby before 37 weeks which is a week today. Im supposed to be going to the fau today for monitoring BP check and urine check but I cant go as its my aunties funeral today (I aint missing it. She was like a second mom to me) so will be going in monday instead before my scan and get it all done then and ive gotta see the consultant after the scan so will just relay what they said to me last night to my consultant tomorrow
