potty training!

weve started potty training yesterday as my son keeps saying 'poo' 'wee' wen he needs it. he did a poo on it yesterday & 2 wees today. is that no0rmal for just starting?
how long does it take?
what happens wen u go out, do u take a potty?

I stayed in for a wk with dolly only went out if I really needed to, at first you had a bare bum all day
And I just sat her back on the potty everytime she started to wee somewhere she shouldn't
Then she soon started doing everyone herself an a few accidents when she started wearing clothes and knickers again as they forget when playing etc
I just made her go to the toilet when out and about because with my first I took the potty everywhere and it took me months to stop and doing poo's on potty when out and about isn't the best lol
Dolly was 20
Months when I started her as I was pregnant and wanted her out of nappie it took about 2 wks and that was bed aswell

so as u say they forget when playing, what did u do wen she was playing n did accidents?
shud i leave him not in nappies etc?
