Ive had a nightmare day, woke up at 5.30am with such a strong pain in my lower abdomen that it really made me catch my breath, then it kind of went after a minute or 2. Then I realised I really needed to pee. Couldnt sleep after that cos I was worried. No more pains but 3 more wees before the alarm went off at 7!!

Ive been wearing the carpet down at work between my desk and the loo today so spent the day trying to ring my midwife. No answer, her mobile doesnt have answer machine so sent a text. By 3.30 I rang the antenatal clinic (from inside the hospital cos I was still at work) and the woman was so arsey and basically said if you cant get hold of your midwife then go to your GP. So by 4.30 I made it there and they were fab, the nurse saw me first but couldnt give her a big enough sample so she booked me in with GP. Ive got antibiotics now and a sample pot which I managed to fill to take into path lab in work tomorrow. phew. What a bloody stressful day!

And I was supposed to leave work at 3 to have my car in the garage by 3.30. totally forgot!

On the plius side I managed to get my GP to prescribe lactulose while he was making hte antibiotic script so I got that freeee!
