positive?!!

I uploaded a picture of what i suspect was my positive opk test in the gallery but i dont think many people look in there. had a bad day today and could do with some reassurance. i'll post the picture on here. a couple of girls and a good friend have said it is def a positive plus its the darkest line ive ever had (although not as dark as the control line, but the instructions say nearly or equally as dark) and since then ive not had one close. if it is my positive then i'll be 6dpo today 7 tomorrow.

really hope you can all help lift my mood

If they got lighter after that I'd say that was your positive I've had months where I haven't got a line as dark as the control, including the month I got pregnant with Toby - sometimes just testing at the wrong time of day means that you miss the surge and the line's a bit lighter than it could be, and the amount of LH varies a bit in us all anyway. Fingers crossed for you! x

Hey thanks for the reply. im really confused now because i decided to do another test about 40 minutes ago and it seems nearly as dark as this one. i'll put the picture on. i really don't know whats going on!! they did go really light but now i have this one!! what do you think? however now i have put it up i dont think it seems as dark?? xx

Where were you in your cycle when you got the darkest line in your first post? If it was roughly when you thought you'd be ovulating I'd still think that was probably your positive - some people do get raised LH levels towards the end of their cycle, but opks can also detect pregnancy (although I didn't get dark lines until after I'd had positive pregnancy tests) so there's a chance it could be that?! x

The darkest line was CD18 and today is CD 25. the test i did tonight has dried a lot lighter. im not sure if my ovulation is on track cos my last cycle was 130 days as it was my first cycle off bc!! but things seem better this cycle. if that was my positive i'd be 6dpo today. i did a preg test with fmu this morning and got bfn!! i know it was too early but i couldnt resist!!! i have had like period type cramps the last couple of days. nothing major but noticable!! x

Did an opk this morning and tonight got nothing this morning and only a very very faint line tonight. also did another hpt this morning and nothing but obv its still abit early!! im trying not to get my hopes up too much for bfp this month!! xx
