poas addicts.... im in the club!

I have been POAS all weekend and Im not due til thursday/friday! I cant resist either, especially when the ebay cheapies are so cheap! Unfortunately it can get me down tho when I keep getting BFNs

Hey girls! I'm not a POAS addict, but that's only because I haven't got any sticks to pee on anyway!
I am, however, in the 2ww too and it's killing me! I really don't think we've done it again this month...I just don't really feel pregnant. I've got sore boobies and niggly cramping/mild period pains but I had this last month too. My period isn't due until Saturday so I have plenty of time before I get any AF signs!
Saying that though, I've only been a member of this site for a short time and I've seen so many girls test early, get their BFP, move over to Tri 1 only to get AF on time! It's so heartbreaking to read so I can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like to be in that position. Those stories have made me a firm believer in only PingOAS once my period is missed!

Who's gonna join me in resisting the urge??

I've got bad news for you girls. Being a POAS addict doesn't end once you get your BFP. I have now done 12 tests since getting my BFP and even made my OH do one when I couldn't force out a wee!

I'm in the 2ww too but i'm not a POAS addict lol I don't drive and we only have a post office where we live so I can't buy any! Plus i'm too stingy to spend that amount of money on tests coz I know they'll probably be a BFN! lol

I am resisting the urge.... if I have the same cycle as last time then I am already 2 days late, but I just know I am not pregnant and that AF is just round the corner ready to pounce, I cant face seeing another BFN!

First month trying for me and could quite easily become an addict too! Done two in the first week after od and got two bfn's. The first made me cry ( was oh's idea though) second one made me feel sad inside for a few days too. I live a half hour drive from the closest place to get them and it's not an easy drive in the country so that's helped me from being an addict. Doctors tomorrow though. Keeping fingers crossed but feeling nervous inside thinking it'll be bpn ( would be too good to be true ttc for the first time an all.

Really trying to resist the urge to do a test as i know its way too early. AF isn't due until later next week! Its getting difficult though.. i'm feeling really positive about this month, jus got a "feeling", not sure if its in my head, but something feels different! Really been trying hard this month too would be great if it pays off.

I'm going to wait til af is due to test... or maybe if its late i will wait couple of days after its late. I'm saying that now but i will probably be jumping at tests next week .. going to try and resist though!

Well done scottishlassie - resist the urge to test - it will be worth it when you get a BFP after AF is due rather than loads of BFNs before x

hi jodied, yeah thats what i'm thinking. i got so worked up last month testing loads and getting BFNs, thinking maybe its too early to test and testing again later, and then af came, so if af comes this time...then that will be it, rather than gettin my hopes up thinking its too early!

Thanks very much I'm feeling very well - no sickness yet! Long may that continue! Definitely wait until AF is due - I got a BFN when I was 3 days late and didn't get my BFP until I was 6 days late - it's so sad when there's no line so much better to wait

I'm really going to try and not get hooked on them!! Lol. Haven't even got any in the house and will avoid buying any until after AF is due
