PMT/PMS symptoms before labour

i wondered how many ladies felt or are feeling pre menstrual as labour approaches? For the last few days I have realised my symptoms are exactly the same as I get a week before my period. Irritable, moody, tearful and feeling hopeless. Also this is the time where if my husband comes near me in an amorous way I am likely to bury a hatchet in his head! My husband is usually aware of this every month and we joke that it's his time to go into the man cave lol.

I am being induced next Monday and was hoping to get some pre sexy time in (in the hopes certain fluids might help soften everything up!), doesn't look like that's going to happen now!

Anyway, having a mooch around the Internet it seems this is quite common as labour nears....anyone else feeling out of sorts?

My mum was convinced both my sister and I were a right pair of hormonal nightmares before we had our LOs. My sister went into labour naturally, whereas I was only in the very early stages, with my cervix dilated by a couple of cm with no contractions before I had to go in and get induced because of my BP. I didn't actually know all this until I had my internal for them to give me the pessary and I got the drip instead.

I'm not convinced though. Both my sister and I had big babies and were big throughout our pregnancies and we both went overdue. I just think the pair of us were so narky with being fed up with being pregnant! I know I felt like that for about two weeks before LO turned up!!

Oh I kind of hope so seeing as I've felt horribly hormonal the past few days, had a proper cry this morning too. As littlemonkey says though, maybe we just get peed off with being pregnant lol x

My hormones have been all over the place over the last week. Some days I'm fine and some days I've been like a bear with a headache haha. Hopefully signs that things are happening!

I have physically really well this last few weeks (think iron I.V did the trick!) but this feels different, like as if I have a period coming, backache and tummy cramps on and off. I definitely have no patience with the OH at the moment, he was slurping his cornflakes this morning and I had to leave the room lol.
