Well, this is my 12th day over and am about to head to the hospital to fight off talk of induction.

Thing is, I've had cramp since I woke at 4.30 this morning. It's constant, but very uncomfortable and a bath didn't soothe it any. My groin is also aching worse than ever. I was hoping this would develop into something so that I could cancel the hospital, but it's stayed pretty constant so far. I've decided to keep the appointment so that I at least get my blood pressure and urine checked out (since both have been a bit iffy). If all looks good I'm going to ask to put off induction for a few days and just accept another sweep. I'm absolutely dreading the thought of them keeping me in today. I would be devastated, but have to go along with the safest option.

Anyway, just going to finish my RLT and head off. Wish me luck!

Good luck hun, hope it turns into the real deal and they send you back home!

I really hope this is it for you Indigo! Fingers crossed and crossed again!

Thanks girls.

Was at the hospital AGES but I escaped! Yey!

Actually got to see the consultant, rather than one of his 'people' and that made such a difference. He explained things really well, listened to us, and was really laid back. It wasn't the battle we were preparing ourselves for thank goodness! He told us the options, we discussed the options, we made a decision.

Basically, we declined induction for today as me and baby are both doing well, but I did accept another sweep. It was a little more uncomfortable this time, but he did warn me that if a sweep is worth doing, it's worth doing brutally lol!! Still, it wasn't painful as such, just quite uncomfortable. We go back on Wednesday to be monitored and have a scan to check fluid levels are ok. We'll then see what the options are and take things from there.

I'm still feeling crappy and crampy so lets hope that things really kick off soon and this baby finds the exit route!
