So, the sun is shining and I thought we'd take a walk out to Mothercare World and Tesco (about 4 miles away ) and get a new play mat. The one we have is shite lol, it does nothing that his changing mat doesn't do tbh. Does anyone have any recommendations? I don't mind ordering one, it's just an excuse to get out and about lol xxxxxxxx

i got one from argos, no fancy bells or whistles etc lol just 3 hanging toys and a mirror, Alyssa likes it well enough lol and i hang her lamaze toys on it too

Captain Calamari is no more since one of his tentacles fell into the rabbit crate and met a nasty end :(. Might have to get Bertie another one though cos he seemed to like it. Well when I say like he's didn't puke or poo on it lol

Now you have me wondering if I should keep the play mat and just buy more things to hang off it.......:D

I have a fisher price rain Forrest one it's fab xxx

fisher price rainforest one, can't use it anymore as my lo pulls herself up on it and kinda miss the music.

We have a baby Einstein one, LO loves it and I hang other toys on it

I have a M&ps gingerbread one but I can't really use it as I don't like laying her flat cos she chokes and splutters.

It was a present but I think they are quite expensive. It has different textures on it and you can tie up the corners to make a box with it too.

Rainforest as well, good stuff!

oooh this is a good thread BB, i was going to ask this too, think i will go for the rainforest one, we have the fisher price rainforest bouncer chair and he loves it :)

I've got a LaMaze one which I like but I don't think it's as well made as the FP Rainforest one. Some friends have the rainforest and I really like it.

i got one called 'tiny love' as a present, its brilliant LO loves it..

I got a little birdie said one from kiddicare... it was fab until she could get off it though as she soon lost interest! but comes with a lot of toys to play with...

Well as we were walking I just spent a small fortune on lamaze toys to hang off the one we have. Was looking at an inflatable nest too lol

I have half a nest! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337177377.537666.jpg
You can take the tray off. Tyler is still a bit little for it but he'll go in for a few mins. It's good for tummy time too.

We have the fisher price forest one and it is brilliant. She loves the music and lights.

J's got a play nest too. It's great for propping him up and making him reach for his toys and independent play. Also great if I need to nip to the loo quick.
